About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer based in Belfast to ensure a secure and safe environment for staff & visitors. Key responsibilities include:
- Applying thorough access control procedures
- Conducting site inductions
- Performing planned & ad-hoc site patrols
- Following prescribed escalation/communication protocols in emergencies
- Assisting with other duties as outlined in Assignment Instructions
Working hours: 20 hours per week, Mondays to Fridays (17:30–21:30).

Requirements
Essential:
- A valid SIA Front-Line License
- Confidence & strong interpersonal skills to establish credible relationships
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask, and perform under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Software (e.g., Excel)
- BS7858 security vetting verification
Key Responsibilities
- Site surveillance & patrols: Record adherence to Corps & Customer security standards.
- Access control: Ensure proper visitor/contractor sign-in, sign-out, and delivery records.
- Alarm management: Set/unset primary/secondary security systems where required.
- Compliance: Follow all waste management, reporting, and documentation protocols (daily logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records).
- Training & documents: Maintain up-to-date skills logs,including first aid & fire marshal training.
- Professionalism: Consistently represent your SIA skills per licence requirements.
