Job Offer: Full-Time Security Officer at Busy Factory Gatehouse
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Security Officer to work at a busy factory gatehouse. The role involves various responsibilities to ensure the security and safety of the site, as well as creating a positive first impression for our client.
- Booking visitors and contractors in and out of the premises
- Checking completion of induction documentation
- Notifying hosts of visitor arrivals
- Controlling vehicle movements and checking driver's paperwork
- Using a weighbridge to monitor materials
- Liaising with the client's goods-in department for efficient processing of raw materials
- Conducting security patrols over rough ground
- Monitoring CCTV and controlling access to the site
- Assisting client's staff, answering phones, and booking taxis for VIP visitors

This role requires good fitness due to patrol duties, attention to detail for effective security measures. Communication skills are essential for interacting with staff and visitors. The shift pattern is 6 AM to 6 PM, working a 4-day, 4-off, 4-night, 4-off rotation with an hourly rate of £13.86.
