We’re Hiring: Security Officer
📍 Location: Glenrothes, UK
💰 Pay: £13.45 per hour
📅 Hours: 56hrs per week on average (3 days, 3 nights, 3 off)

About the Role
Due to security clearance requirements, applicants must be:
- British nationals
- Have been resident in the UK continuously for the past five years

As a Security Officer, you’ll:
- Protect people and property

This is a fantastic starting step into the security industry, with an exciting and varied role. You’ll handle:
- Security searches
- Emergency response
- Customer service (providing exceptional support to employees, visitors, and guests)

Responsibilities
You’ll play a key role in ensuring people, property, and information remain safe:
- Active Patrols: Monitor designated areas to detect and deter suspicious activity, promoting a safe environment.
- Thorough Searches: Conduct detailed security screenings following company policies.
- Record-Keeping: Document incidents and observations accurately.
- Communication: Collaborate with colleagues, supervisors, and external authorities to respond to security incidents.
- Customer Service: Offer professional, courteous service to employees, visitors, and guests.

Requirements
We’re looking for a proactive professional who thrives in team settings and values growth. Ideally, you’ll have:
- A valid SIA licence.
- Physical fitness for site patrolling.
- Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
- Right to work in the UK (with a 5-year checkable history).
- British citizenship and 5+ years of UK residency (due to site security policies).
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
