Our Client

The Royal Hospital Chelsea is an Old Soldiers' retirement home and nursing home for some 300 veterans of the British Army. Founded as an almshouse, the ancient sense of the word "hospital", it is a 66-acre site located on Royal Hospital Road in Chelsea, London. It is an independent charity and relies partly upon donations to cover day-to-day running costs to provide care and accommodation for veterans.

We are looking for professional Security Officers to work in the Visitor Centre in this vibrant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and awareness of site security operations, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others.

Purpose of the Role

This role is to work as part of the day shift core security team. You will be based at the main entrance of the Soane Stable Yard. Your role is meeting and greeting all visitors coming into the stable yard, to ensure that all visitors to the stable yard are directed to the Visitor Centre, Post Office, or café, and access the site via the correct entrance. The main priorities of the role are access control, customer service, general inquiries, alarm response, unlock and lockup duties, general health and safety, and ensuring the safety of the public, residents, and staff on site. When necessary, respond to enquiries from members of the public, staff and residents politely, helpfully and confidently.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
