Job Description
Security Officer (Nights) | Sheffield | £14.56 per Hour | Permanent
- 📍 Location: Sheffield (S9 1XW)
- 💰 Pay: £14.56 per hour
- 🕒 Hours: 42 hours per week
- 🌙 Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off Nights
- 🔐 Licence Required: Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence

About the Role
As a Security Officer, you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure and professional environment for our client, protecting people, property and assets while providing outstanding customer service.

Qualifications
What You'll Need
Essential
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guard Licence
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good IT skills with the ability to complete accurate reports
- A professional, customer-focused approach
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work permanent 4 On 4 Off night shifts
- Eligibility to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
Desirable
- Previous experience within corporate, industrial or high-profile security
- CCTV experience
- First Aid qualification (training can be provided)
- Experience using access control or security management systems
Security Clearance Requirements
This role requires you to be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
To be eligible you must:
- Have lived continuously in the UK for the last five years
- Be able to provide a full five-year employment, education or activity history
- Successfully complete the required vetting and background checks
