The Role: Security Officer (SIA Licensed)

Our Vision

We are seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to uphold a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors. Key duties include:

  • Applying thorough access control procedures
  • Conducting site inductions
  • Performing scheduled and ad-hoc site patrols
  • Managing emergency escalation within Corporation, client, and emergency service protocols

This part-time opportunity operates on a 42-hour-per-week schedule under a 4 days on / 4 days off / 4 nights on / 4 days off rotation.

Your Qualifications & Skills

Key criteria include:

✔ Excellent communication skills with a client-focused attitude ✔ Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential) ✔ Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships at all levels ✔ Working under pressure and multitasking with strong list management ✔ Proficiency in MS Office (Excel required) ✔ Ability to achieve BS7858 security vetting standards


Your Responsibilities

Core Duties

  • Site Surveillance
    • Conduct regular circum.open patrols and log findings adhering to Corps and customer compliance
  • Visitor & Delivery Control
    • Brief, record, and manage contractor and delivery access, ensuring quality procedure adherence
    • Process paperwork linked to delivery operations
  • System Management
    • Secure primary and secondary alarms for out-of-hours security if required
  • Record Keeping
    • Log daily occurrences, shift handover details, and incident/accident incidents per company guidelines
  • Training & Compliance
    • Stay updated via training portal/courses (especially first aid and fire marshalling)
    • Display your SIA Licence visibly at all times
