Security Officer
Retail Security Officer – St. Austell

About the Role
In this full-time, permanent position, you'll play a vital role in safeguarding the store while working closely with the Store Management Team. You'll help prevent loss, manage risk, and maintain high standards of safety and professionalism.
The role offers flexibility across daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, making it ideal for someone who thrives on variety, responsibility, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively monitor the store to identify, prevent and report incidents
- Operate and review CCTV systems in line with company policies
- Support the enforcement of Health & Safety procedures
- Conduct investigations into stock loss, theft, and fraud
- Engage with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly and effectively

Requirements & Skills
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Alert, calm under pressure, and confident in their approach
- Highly responsible with a customer-first mindset
- Able to follow procedures and remain composed in difficult situations
- Strong in verbal and written communication
- Skilled in handling difficult conversations professionally
- Possessing sound judgment, honesty, integrity, and dedication
While similar security experience isn’t essential, successful candidates will demonstrate adaptability and teamwork.
