Security Officer
Retail Security Officer – Bournemouth

About the Role
In this role, you’ll be entrusted with responsibility and play a pivotal part in protecting the store. Collaborating with the Store Management Team, you’ll:
- Prevent loss
- Manage risk
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism
This position offers a full-time, permanent role with flexibility across daytime, evening, and weekend shifts, making it ideal for those who thrive on variety and ownership within the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Actively monitor the store to identify, prevent, and report incidents
- Operate and review CCTV systems in line with company policies
- Support Health & Safety procedures where required
- Conduct investigations into stock loss, theft, and fraud
- Engage professionally with customers and colleagues to resolve situations calmly

What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a sharp, composed individual who demonstrates:

While prior security experience isn’t essential, we require:
- An ability to follow procedures while remaining level-headed in challenging situations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence in handling difficult conversations respectfully and professionally
- Sound judgement, honesty, integrity, and a proven work ethic
- Experience working as a supportive team player who acts with diligence and pride
