Security Officer – Romsey, UK
📍 Location: Romsey, UK
💰 Pay: £13.50 per hour 📅 Hours: 36-hour contract (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, nights)

You must meet the following criteria for eligibility:
- Working towards a valid SIA Licence
- Holding SC Clearance and possessing a British passport
- Having a UK driving licence (transport preferred but not mandatory)
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
- Previous experience as a security officer
- Offered: On-site gym, canteen, parking, and a rural location
The Security Officer ensures a safe and secure environment by following security protocols, protecting people and assets, and delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities
- Provide patrols, CCTV monitoring, and access control to safeguard property, assets, and people.
- Adhere to Assignment Instructions and maintain accurate incident logs.
- Enforce site safety and security procedures with professionalism.
- Uphold health & safety compliance, including:
- Reporting hazards and assisting during evacuations
- Responding to alarms
- Preventing loss, theft, and damage through vigilance
- Operate security equipment while following "stop and search" policies.
- Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a professional appearance.
- Handle calls, assist visitors, and facilitate smooth shift handovers.
- Support management and embody our company values: Integrity, Vigilance, Helpfulness.

Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Currently working towards a valid SIA Licence.
- Right to work in the UK (age 18+).
- No criminal convictions (5-year checkable work history).
- A UK driving licence and reliable transport (desirable).
- Previous security officer experience.
- First Aid qualification (recommended).
- Ready to work nights, weekends, and varied shifts.
