SC Cleared Support Officers – Security – £13/Hour – Corporate Environments

About the Role
We are now looking for skilled, clearinged support officers to join our team as SC cleared security officers.
Role Requirements:
- Must either have or be able to obtain SC clearance (UK residency requirement: 5 years)
- 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends

Key Responsibilities
Operations

Follow all site policies, legal requirements, and Assignment Instructions (AI’s) diligently.

Carry out assigned duties efficiently and accountably to meet KPIs/SLAs.

Ensure continuous professional development by completing all training.

Maintain legally compliant behaviour and hold valid SIA licensing (Security Guarding, Door Supervision, and CCTV PSS). Central Government roles require a DBS Enhanced Check (at least).

Supporters are required:
- To monitor and report security issues/safety hazards immediately.
- To act with initiative and judgement in emergencies, using provided protocols or third-party assistance as needed.

Must maintain professionalism, handle difficult situations, and be available for shift work away from home.

- End-of-shift documentation:
- Complete incident reports accurately and review logbooks from previous shifts.
Training
- Complete assigned core competency training and refreshers as needed.
- Demonstrate an inquirer’s approach to On-The-Job Training (OJT) recognised by your manager.
- Review and comply with updated guidelines necessary for day-to-day work.
- Ensure SIA and contract-trained certifications remain up to date., and require advance licence renewal reminders.
Security & Health & Safety
- Monitor and track shifts on time, following assignable schedules.
- Ensure timely execution of check-ins/check-outs, according to the Assigned Safety Plan (ASP).
- Present a robust appearance (mandatory company uniform).
- Report incidents immediately:
- In-person per protocols or, if needed, escalate using urgent communication systems.
What We’re Looking For
To qualify for this position, you must:
- Have previous experience in security (preferably in a static/mobile setting).
- Be SIA licenced with active qualifying qualifications.
- Have (or be able to achieve) a Secret level clearance.
- Maintain strong integrity, integrity, and interpersonal skills.
