Security Officer- EICC
Security Officer – Edinburgh International Conference Centre
We are seeking professional and motivated Security Officers to join our expanding team at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC).
This is a casual contract with opportunities for regular overtime and career progression.
Vigilant Security provides a range of security services, including manned guarding, mobile patrols, and keyholding.
About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will provide a visible, responsive, and professional security presence at a premier venue in the heart of Edinburgh. Your duties may include:
- Front-of-house and reception duties
- Access control and visitor management
- Signing contractors and vendors in and out
- General monitoring of premises and event spaces
You will work across a diverse calendar of events—from evening banquets to high-profile daytime conferences—with flexible shift options suited to your availability.

- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Five years of checkable work or education history
Desirable:
- Full UK driving licence
