Working Hours: Average 42 hours per week (contracted) Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights – mixed rota) Pay: £13.45 per hour Location: Worcester (candidates must be based locally or within a reasonable commuting distance)
Overview
Anchor Group Services is currently inviting expressions of interest for future Security Officer opportunities at a well-established site in Worcester.
While there are no immediate vacancies, we are progressing through a process with a potential mobilisation in the coming months. As part of this, we are keen to engage with the local talent pool and connect with suitably qualified security professionals in advance.
This is an excellent opportunity to register your interest early and be considered as a priority candidate should the contract be awarded.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Protecting the client’s property, people, and assets by locking/unlocking customer premises and controlling access to the site
- Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner to the Control Room/Manager/Emergency Services where applicable
- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
- Maintaining the organisation’s stability and reputation by adhering to legal requirements
- Acting as first-line support to customers and visitors on-site, providing a professional and friendly service
- Ensuring compliance with all site-specific procedures and maintaining the company’s exceptional standards
- Understanding customer needs, responding to queries, and taking appropriate action
- Maintaining professional conduct at all times

Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (essential)
- CCTV licence (desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (required)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to confidently handle incidents and conflict situations
- Be reliable, professional, and well-presented
- Full 5-year checkable work history
