Mitie has a great opportunity at Brent Cross Shopping Centre, Barnet, London. We are currently looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about looking after and anticipating the needs of our customers. Working within the essential Security team, you will be the main point of contact for all of our customers and retailers within the Centre. Offering a pay rate of £14.59 per hour, working 45 hours per week.
Role Description
- Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and retailers within the Centre.
- Demonstrate character traits such as being determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable at all times.
- Be geographically aware of the local surroundings.
- Spot and stop suspicious sightings or potential criminal activity and maintain control until emergency services arrive.
- Report, record, and escalate all sightings and arrests to the Security Shift Manager or Duty Controller on a regular basis.

Qualifications
- Team player with an enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexible approach to work to suit the business needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must remain calm under pressure.
- Door Supervision or Security Guarding License desirable.
