SECURITY OFFICER - LEEDS - TOP RATES - PERMANENT
SECURITY OFFICER Required – Starting This Month at Leeds Airport
Job Type: Permanent Shift Options:
- Day shifts (8 AM till 6 PM or 8 AM till 8 PM) – £19.50/hour
- Night shifts (8 PM till 8 AM) – £22.50/hour
- Weekends & overtime – £25.50/hour
- Flexible arrangement: Choose to work days or nights + weekends
Paid Garment: £3,000 joining bonus paid in July Salary Structure: Paid weekly every Friday Expected Hours: 45–60 hours per week (guaranteed)
About the Role
Security Officers will monitor, patrol, and ensure safety and security at Leeds Airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Patrolling & Securing Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to prevent hazards and ensure safety.

Monitoring Systems Observing CCTV, surveillance, and security systems to detect or respond to threats.

Access Control Checking IDs, logging entries/exits, and regulating restricted-area access.

Incident Response Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking swift action to resolve concerns.

Enforcing Policies Ensuring adherence to security procedures and de-escalating conflicts tactfully.

Reporting & Documentation Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and alerting supervisors to irregularities.
Essential Skills & Qualities
- Observational Skills – Noticing suspicious behaviour or security risks.
- Communication – Strong written and verbal skills for reporting and interaction.
- Problem-Solving – Quickly assessing situations and making decisive actions.
- Conflict Resolution – Effectively de-escalate tense scenarios professionally.
- Technical Awareness – Familiarity with security equipment, CCTV, and office software.
- Physical Fitness – Ability to patrol, stand long shifts, and handle crises as needed.
- Professionalism – Maintaining a calm, courteous, and trustworthy presence.
