Location: Network Rail - Ashford Job Type: Full-time Shift Rota: 4on 4off (12Hour Shifts)

Main Duties

  • Maintain a professional presence: determined, trustworthy, attentive, and approachable
  • Welcome clients and visitors warmly
  • Issue and manage ID badge's
  • Operate:
    • Phones
    • Emails
    • IT systems
    • CCTV
    • Alarm systems
    • Access control (doors and car park)
  • Monitor and respond to:
    • Suspicious activity
    • Potential criminal behaviour
  • Maintain control of incidents until emergency services arrive
  • Record, report, and escalate incidents to the Account Manager

Person Specification

  • Strong team player with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous security experience preferred
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for clients and visitors
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure

Knowledge & Requirements

  • Understanding of:
    • Health and Safety at Work Act
    • Criminal and Civil Law
    • Police and Criminal Evidence Act
  • SIA Licence - (Door Supervision or Security Guarding) – Essential
