As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist based in Hazlehurst, MS, you’ll safeguard clients across industries such as Food/Beverage via routine unarmed patrols, monitoring, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents. This role demands reliability, clear communication, and a commitment to upholding Allied Universal’s values of integrity and service.
Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.45 per hour Schedule:
- Monday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Thursday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Engage with employees, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency response protocols.
- Assess and respond to incidents, unusual activity, or critical situations with calm problem-solving, documenting observations and reporting as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols across facility interiors, production areas, parking lots, and perimeters to prevent unauthorized access and detect security concerns.
- Monitor access points, regulating entry/exit for staff, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in line with facility guidelines.
- Maintain a professional demeanour and assist with routine security tasks while adapting to varying operational needs and conditions.

Minimum Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience (prefer experience with access control and badge systems).
- 21 years of age (minimum 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ required for armed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Eligible for employment under federal, state, and local laws (background checks mandatory).
- Pass pre-employment drug screening (permissive under law).
- Licensing may be mandated based on state/local regulations (valid driver’s license required for driving-specific roles).
