Location & Salary
📍 M&S Bury St Edmunds 23 Buttermarket, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1DT 💰 £14.90 per hour 📊 Guaranteed 40+ hours per week
Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be on ensuring a safe and welcoming store environment while supporting rapid, professional responses in fast-paced retail conditions.
Customer Experience & Support
- greeted customers as they start shopping
- delivered professional support to both customers and staff
- ensured a supportive, approachable presence throughout the store
Store Security & Safety
- prevented loss and security risks, including responding to incidents
- identified potential risks and promoted safe working practices
- leveraged store technology, such as mobile reporting systems and body-worn cameras, for incident support and operational management

Requirements
- Previous security experience (preferred)
- Valid SIA Licence (desirable; funding may be available upon recruitment)

All candidates must provide a checkable 5-year work history within the UK.
