Security Officer

Duties And Responsibilities

As Security Officer, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

  • Patrol the hotel ensuring that adequate guards are available at all times and that all areas are patrolled on a regular basis.
  • Personally, monitor all movements of host, visitors, contract workers and guests in and around premises, in particular on guest floors; back-of-house areas, and the host entry/exit route ensuring that the security of premises and equipment is maintained.
  • Monitor CCTV to prevent the entry of unauthorized visitors to ensure that guests are not disturbed by the unwanted/ uninvited intrusions of unauthorized visitors.
  • Conduct a preliminary inquiry of any incident or occurrence that is associated with security, of the Hotel, its guests, visitors, vendors, and staff and to submit a report on the inquiry to the Front Office Manager.
  • Display complete knowledge of the fire/life System and all support systems, their functions and emergency response procedures.
  • Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
  • Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Security Officer, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 years’ experience in a similar setting.
  • Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various security systems. I must have updated certifications on First Aid, CPR and Defibrillator certification.
  • SIA Licence
  • Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.

All candidates must hold the right to work in the UK to be considered. Sponsorship is not available for this role.
