Relief Security Officer
Location: Isle of Grain Pay Rate: £13.80 per hour Hours: 12-hour shifts (days, nights, and weekends)

About the Role
As a Relief Security Officer, you’ll be a proactive guardian of safety and security at a critical operating site.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing a visible, professional security presence across the site
- Responding quickly to fires, first-aid incidents, environmental incidents, divesting, transport, and workplace emergencies
- Maintaining and inspecting CCTV systems, emergency vehicles, and equipment to operational standards
- Conducting internal & external patrols, searches, and site reports
- Performing vehicle patrols and observations from the control room
- Managing access control and visitor registration
- Supporting compliance with health, safety, and security policies
- Maintaining strong client relations and effective communication
What We’re Looking For
Mitie is seeking driven, professional individuals eager to engage in a dynamic and rewarding role.
Essential Requirements
- Full, clean UK manual driving licence (current and valid)
- Valid SIA Frontline security licence with a CCTV licence
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and shifts across all periods
- Ability to pass a security vetting process
- Basic/Intermediate IT skills (word processing, email, basic software)
- A personal vehicle is highly recommended (company parking available)
