Casual Security Officer
Immerse yourself in the excitement of Goodwood’s 2026 headline events and play a key role in protecting one of the UK’s most unique estates.
As a Casual Security Officer, you will support the safe delivery of world-class events including Festival of Speed, Goodwood Revival and the Qatar Goodwood Festival, alongside contributing to the wider 24/7 security operation across the Estate.

Working alongside our full-time team, you will help protect Goodwood House, the Richmond Family, and the Estate’s heritage, while maintaining a professional, visible and customer-focused security presence.
This is a varied, hands-on role involving event security, patrols, access control, incident response and supporting busy operational periods throughout the year.
Training rate of £14.24 per hour (inclusive of holiday accrual).

What you’ll have:
- Experience in a security, police, military, or similar operational environment
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (minimum requirement)
- Full UK manual driving licence
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and key event periods
