We are currently seeking an experienced Security Operations Analyst. As part of a leading global bank, this role presents a tremendous opportunity to guide us through a period of positive change as we continue our journey toward global leadership in sustainable mobility.
Key Purpose
-
To monitor and investigate Security alerts, threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, performing timely diagnosis, accurate logging, and escalation where necessary.

To investigate new and advanced detection and prevention methods while identifying, developing, organising, and improving Security Operations processes, including both customer and project-related activities.

To act as a proactive champion of Security, actively staying informed about emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends and applying knowledge to enhance business-wide security practices.
Responsibilities
- Daily monitoring of operational Security tools and swift response to incidents and events.
- Development and optimisation of Security controls and tooling to enhance monitoring and threat detection.
- Leadership of new Security initiatives, ensuring maximum value from tooling and supporting technologies.
- Acts as the first point of contact for Security incidents, events, and requests, ensuring all cases are logged.
- Assists in generating regular reporting and administering Security supervision.
- Supports internal and external audit requirements, collating necessary information to respond effectively.
- Creation and maintenance of procedure manuals.
- Promotes Security awareness across all business units.
- Ensures alignment with legal and regulatory Security requirements.
- Actively follows industry trends, trains towards, and obtains relevant professional certifications.
- Engages with international Security teams and third-party vendors.
- Promotes team development, coaching, and mentoring of direct reports to drive their growth in line with business strategy.

Skills, Experience & Background
- Proven experience in monitoring, identifying, and responding to Security events and incidents.
- Skilled in development and optimisation of Security controls and tooling to improve detection processes.
- Strong understanding of SIEM platforms, Security assessments, and vulnerability scans.
- Network knowledge (TCP/IP) and familiarity with Windows OS administration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with awareness of current cyber threats/trends.
- Experience in defining and documenting Security processes and procedures.
- Self-motivated individual with a commitment to growth, passionate about acquiring new skills and embracing innovation.
- Possesses confidentiality awareness and the ability to work independently.
- Clear communicator, able to explain complex technical concepts in simple, non-technical terms across all levels.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and reporting skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Keenness to learn new technologies and proactive self-education.
