We are recruiting for the latest members of our Security Operations Team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced fun environment where the customer is at the heart of everything we do, then this could be the role for you. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to begin their career in security and gain hands on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will be joining the Security Operations team, which currently consists of 2 seniors and 2 associates. We monitor alerts from our Managed Service Provider and our MDR service whilst working closely with all teams across the whole TTR function. Our core role is to manage security alerts from all our security monitoring tools. Working closely with our Managed Service Provider.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Responding to security alerts, including the monitoring and triage of SIEM alerts and other threat activities.
  • Identity Governance.
  • Support the resolution of Incidents and service requests to agreed service levels.
  • Monitoring Daily Threat Intelligence Notifications.
  • Monitoring Phishing Alerts
  • Brand protection alerts.
  • Monitoring of alerts from EDR tooling
  • Participate in Threat Hunting.

What Do We Need From You?

  • You’ll need a minimum of 2 years’ experience supporting IT systems using Microsoft Technologies together with knowledge of network security.
  • A good understanding of security concepts and best practices.
  • A good understanding of IT processes together with an awareness of security concepts and best practices.
  • Awareness of Identity Governance.
  • Another key element of the role is strong analytical/problem solving skills together with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Become part of the On-call rota (approx. 1 week out of 6)
  • Working toward relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or BT L1
  • Willingness to learn
  • Strong communication and excellent team working skills
  • Excellent investigative skills, insatiable curiosity, Self-motivated and possessing a high sense of urgency and personal integrity.
