We're currently recruiting for a Security Operations Centre (SOC) Operative to join our experienced Security Operations Centre team.

Our SOC Operatives play a key role in preventing and detecting offences against Harrods, its staff, customers, products & assets by using a intelligence led, proactive and collaborative way of working. You will benefit from a competitive salary of £41,629 and an excellent benefits package as explained below.

About the Role

In this role you will support the security function and other departments as necessary, through the monitoring of CCTV and supplementary systems, acting with the utmost integrity and professionalism at all times and in line with General Data Protection Regulations/Information Commissioners CCTV Codes of Practice.

We offer a role that gives you variety, opportunity and support. Our team works together to stay fit and sharp whilst the management team are always looking to support and develop.

About You

You will be adept at monitoring CCTV for prevention and detection of crime and potential health and safety issues. You will also have knowledge of the laws, rules of evidence and court procedures relevant to the role.

You will also:

  • Have prior experience in a high pressure security operations centre environment
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively to team members, internal and external customers and peers
  • Have a high level of verbal and written communications, provide quality information and have a clear communication style
  • Have excellent attention to detail will be key, as you will have to complete full and detailed entries on the reporting system/intelligence system.
