What you’ll do

Role purpose: making Vodafone more secure through maintaining our policies and delivering assurance, supporting regulatory compliance and security risk management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Global Corporate Security & Resilience (GCS&R) policy & control framework: create global policies, controls and training materials and keep them up to date
  • Deliver and support GCS&R assurance: contribute to annual assurance planning; plan, lead, deliver and follow up reviews of our policy & control framework across Group entities and local companies, both remotely and on-site
  • Support the Group Finance & Group Compliance centralised assurance activities
  • Participate in, and occasionally manage, programmes to bring Vodafone Group into compliance, by driving or supporting implementation of processes, systems, controls and policies as necessary to solve the problem
  • Provide support to, and liaise with various Group and local stakeholders in policy, control & assurance matters
  • Engage professional communities in our GCS&R domains, acting as an enabler in creating security culture
  • Participate in, and occasionally manage ad-hoc, high-profile projects improving Vodafone’s security posture.

Who you are

Core competencies, knowledge and experience

  • Ability to understand, analyse and syntesise (often in writing) complex information
  • Literacy in Microsoft Office: advanced use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain professional relationships, often virtually
  • Managing a dynamic, fast-paced working environment where prioritising, tracking tasks to completion and consistent, high-quality delivery are critical
  • Preferred but not required:
    • Understanding of, or experience in the telecommunications industry
    • Experience in Corporate Security topics
    • Audit experience
