Technical Security Delivery Lead
Technical Security Delivery Lead required for the delivery of a large-scale cyber security transformation programme. This is an opportunity to play a key role in driving security initiatives across a complex enterprise environment, working with technical teams, senior stakeholders and third-party partners to deliver meaningful improvements in cyber resilience.
This role combines programme leadership with hands-on technical project delivery, making it ideal for someone who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Leadership & Governance
- Lead the delivery of a comprehensive cyber security programme and roadmap aligned to business priorities and risk reduction objectives.
- Maintain oversight of programme delivery, tracking milestones, dependencies, risks, resources and overall progress.
- Drive collaboration across cyber security, IT, engineering and business teams to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective programme governance, including integrated plans, RAID logs, roadmaps and decision registers.
- Produce clear, executive-level reporting on programme status, risks, dependencies and key decisions for governance forums.

- Deliver end-to-end cyber security projects covering areas such as:
- Cloud Security
- Endpoint Security
- Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- Vulnerability Management
- Data Protection
- Network Security
- Enterprise Security Platforms
- Translate security strategies into practical delivery plans and technical workstreams.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources and risks, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives.
- Provide technical guidance where required, helping teams overcome implementation challenges and deliver scalable, sustainable solutions.
- Coordinate cross-functional delivery across infrastructure, engineering, architecture, operations and external partners.
- Ensure delivered solutions align with security policies, standards and architectural best practice.
Supplier & Vendor Management
- Manage third-party suppliers and delivery partners to ensure successful delivery against agreed scope, timelines and quality standards.
- Support supplier onboarding, Statements of Work (SoWs), milestones and acceptance criteria.
- Monitor supplier performance and proactively manage delivery risks and dependencies.
- Support budget management and provide visibility of supplier-led investment and delivery.
About You
You'll have a strong track record of delivering complex cyber security programmes within large enterprise environments and be comfortable engaging with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.

You'll bring:
- Proven experience delivering enterprise cyber security programmes and technical projects.
- Strong knowledge across cloud security, endpoint security, IAM, vulnerability management, data protection and network security.
- Experience translating strategic cyber security objectives into practical delivery plans.
- Excellent programme and project management skills, including management of risks, budgets, dependencies and resources.
- A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to remove blockers and drive programmes through to successful completion.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and technology delivery partners.
- A collaborative, pragmatic approach with strong commercial awareness.
Desirable Certifications
One or more of the following would be advantageous:
- PRINCE2
- PMP
- Agile certifications
- CISSP
- CISM
- Microsoft Azure Security
- Knowledge of recognised security frameworks including NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), ISO 27001 and CIS Controls.
