Job Description: Security Receptionist – Bracknell, Berkshire

Hours of Work
42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday (8.5 hours per day)
The Role
We are looking for a highly professional and well-presented Security Receptionist to join our team at Cadence EMEA HQ in Bracknell, Berkshire. In this role, you will balance high-end corporate hospitality with a rigorous security mindset, ensuring that every visitor and employee feels welcomed while maintaining the integrity of our office space.
This role serves as the first point of contact for the organisation, managing the reception area and access control, monitoring site safety, handling incoming calls and correspondence, coordinating visitor access, and supporting general administrative activities to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the office. The role holder will also have responsibility for managing access control and badging allocation across the EMEA region real estate footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Front Desk and Visitor Management: Greet and welcome visitors, customers, vendors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner. Manage visitor sign-in/sign-out procedures in line with company security and safety requirements.
- Corporate Hospitality: Provide world-class customer service to employees and visitors, handling inquiries and directing traffic with poise and professionalism.
- Access Management: Orchestrate the visitor experience by managing the visitor system (‘Envoy’), vetting credentials, and ensuring all guests are properly badged and escorted. Management and administration of the badging/access system for EMEA region.
- Incident Response: Serve as a primary point of contact during emergency situations, assisting with building evacuations and coordinating with the Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) and local first responders.
- Operational/Office Support: Coordinate incoming/outgoing logistics, including secure courier deliveries and vendor access for facilities maintenance. Provide general administrative support to office teams, management, or facilities functions.

Required Skills And Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and polished manner
- Strong customer service orientation

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)

Qualifications And Experience
- 2+ years of experience in corporate reception, high-end hospitality, or a security-focused customer service role.
- GCSE pass (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics (Certificate of Higher Education level preferred).
- Current SIA license.
