The Security Sales Capture Senior Manager role is a critical position within Accenture Security, where you’ll work with some of the best in the industry—on prestigious projects with the world’s most high-profile clients across Financial Services, Products, Resources, and CMT sectors.

  • Location: London
  • Career Level: Level 6 (Senior Manager)

Salary & Security Clearance

  • Competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits.

Critical: Any offer of employment is subject to satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance, which requires:

  • 5 years of continuous UK address history (with no periods of 30 consecutive days or more spent outside the UK) at the point of application.

What You’ll Do

Team Engagement & Value Delivery

  • Collaborate with top-tier security professionals to shape and deliver substantial cybersecurity projects for major industries.
  • Gain hands-on experience in compliance, cloud, AI, and cyber transformation, embedding security resilience.
  • Work with clients across IT and OT cybersecurity, including critical national infrastructure and high-profile firms.

Sales Cycle Leadership

In this pivotal Sales Capture Lead role, you will:

  • Drive large, complex cybersecurity deals from early pursuit shaping to contract signing, owning the journey from Origination → Qualification → Pursuit → Closure.
  • Convert sales pipeline into revenue, ensuring accountability across the entire sales spectrum.

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and Capture New Opportunities

    • Lead strategic sales pursuits by leveraging Accenture’s Industry-Specific Security Teams and security capabilities to propel customer growth.
    • Proactively research and target potential clients through existing networks, cold outreach, networking, social media, and ecosystems.
  • Effective Sales Communication

    • Articulate Accenture’s cybersecurity value proposition, aligning our offerings with clients’ needs.
    • Engage deeply with clients via active listening, tailored solutions, and persuasive storytelling to drive action.
  • Strategic Insight & Execution

    • Develop customer-centric sales strategies informed by market trends, competition, and pain points.
    • Adapt approaches dynamically to overcome objections—whether early-stage doubt or final negotiations.
  • Relationship & Partnership Leadership

    • Build and maintain strong external relationships with high-level decision-makers (Board, C-Suite) and internal Accenture networks.
    • Foster repeat business and referrals through holistic client nurturing and joint account planning sessions with ecosystem partners.

This role demands proven risk-taking capability in cybersecurity sales, with expertise shaping large transformations. The ideal candidate has:

✔ 10+ years of client-facing experience, closing large, multi-year cybersecurity programmes. ✔ Demonstrable track record in consistent sales performance—exceeding 3-5-year targets. ✔ Sharp prospecting and lead qualification skills, placing high-value contacts with clarity. ✔ Familiarity with Board-level and C-Suite negotiations, delivering long-term solutions. ✔ Unmatched negotiation and closing skills—the ability to weigh risks, execute closing strategies, and build commitment.

Operational Tools & Mindset ✔ Proficient CRM tracking for pipeline visibility and reporting. ✔ Threat/regulatory acumen across sectors covered by this role (e.g. Financial, Energy, National Infrastructure).

  • Deep knowledge of frameworks like ISO27001, NIST, or OT security frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of AI Security frameworks, ideas, and selling AI-driven capabilities.

✔ Cloud Security expertise in designing, selling, and implementing cloud-based platforms. ✔ Deep Ecosystem Partnerships—navigating, influencing, and utilizing leading security products to strengthen sales propositions.


Set Yourself Apart

Stand out with cutting-edge domain expertise and proactive selling strategies (at least two from below):

  • Mastery of common frameworks (e.g. NIST, NIS2, ISO27001, CIS, CIMCII).
  • AI Security experience—training, frameworks, and real proposals around AI-enabled offerings.
  • Cloud-native expertise—identifying growth areas and executing platform-centric cyber deals.
  • Proven leadership in OT cybersecurity across sectors or by driving cross-team transformation in legacy environments.
  • Accountable financial close—empowering sales teams with clear ownership of pipeline and performance metrics.
  • Culture of innovation and collaborative partnering (e.g. partner relationship frameworks, C-Suite interactions).
