About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Security Sales Specialist to drive growth in our security portfolio through collaborative, strategic customer engagement. This customer-facing role requires building high-value pipelines, crafting tailored solutions, and partnering with mid- to large-enterprise C-suite stakeholders. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment where relationship-building and consultative selling drive success.
Key Responsibilities

Pipeline Development & Growth
- Build and maintain a robust, long-term sales pipeline for security solutions
- Expand existing customer relationships into strategic partnerships

Account & Deal Management
- Provide specialist expertise to Account Managers throughout the sales cycle
- Own key strategic accounts (small number) to reinforce market reputation

Strategic Influence & Proposition
- Define business development direction and replicate successful solution deployments
- Act as crossover expert for cross-portfolio opportunities (hardware/software/services)

Relationship & Consultative Selling
- Establish trusted, consultative relationships with executive stakeholders
- Leverage cross-portfolio knowledge for end-to-end security solutions
- Deliver compelling business cases aligned with CIO priorities, IT frameworks, and budgets

Proactive & Agile Execution
- Stay ahead of industry trends, competitors, and partner innovations
- Drive service opportunities (outsourcing renewal deals, outsourced managed security)
- Maintain CRM/discipline and predictive revenue forecasting models
Requirements
Experience & Education
- 5+ years of specialist security sales experience in large enterprises
- Proven track record in exceeding complex, high-value sales quotas (multi-million pound deals)
- Experience selling hardware, software, and services portfolios within security (or IT infra/ cyber) domains
- Bachelor’s degree with preference for MBA or advanced qualifications
Key Skills & Traits
- Strategic & consultative sales — specializing in value-led security engagements
- C-suite credibility — confident in executives/board-level discussions
- Business acumen — understanding of IT architectures, financial models, and deal structuring
- Partner collaboration — integration with SI providers, tech partners, and channel teams
- Analytical mindset — translating customer needs into bespoke security solutions
