SECURITY SERVICE ENGINEER – WEST MIDLANDS
£45,000.00 per Year – Intruder & CCTV Technician
About the Role
Pay structure: £45,000 is OTE (On Target Earnings) – basic salary varies based on experience.

Key Purpose of the Job
To service, maintain, and repair intruder, CCTV, and access control systems following industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair intruder, CCTV, access control, andarlo con systems, ensuring they meet performance targets.
- Exceed scheduled maintenance and fault-finding targets.
- Demonstrate systems to customers, clarifying alarm causes/consequences (e.g., false triggers) clearly.
- Participate in an On Call Rota for out-of-hours (OOH) callouts and telephone support.
- Align with client needs to fulfil all maintenance/repair job requirements.
- Adhere to reasonable additional management requests when necessary.
- Uphold health, safety, and welfare standards in line with Kings Policy.
- Fully implement and comply with company policies:
- Information security.
- Environmental and quality safeguards.
- Health and safety protocols.
- Protect proprietary assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or interference.

Essential Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in service and repair within the security industry.
- Demonstrable expertise in systems such as:
- Intruder panels: Galaxy, Castle, Aritech, Scantronic, Network/IP.
- Analogue CCTV.
- Modern skier systems (e.g., Gallav, Menvier &controls).
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence (checkable).
- Verification of work history and suitable references.
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction.
- Good customer service attitude.

- Role primarily requires on-the-road work, with MILEAGE equipment. remote support is common.
