Security Solutions Architect (Pre-Sales)
UK & Ireland (Remote) | Enterprise Cybersecurity | Frequent European Travel
£70,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Equity
Cybersecurity is evolving. So is the way enterprise software is sold. Our client has become a global leader in email cybersecurity, trusted by some of the world's largest organisations to protect one of their most critical attack surfaces. Now they're building the next generation of their Go-to-Market team - one that's AI-first by design.
As a Solutions Architect, you'll become a pivotal part of that journey. Working alongside Sales, Product and Marketing, you'll engage enterprise customers from the very first conversation, helping solve complex technical challenges, shape buying decisions and redefine what modern pre-sales looks like.
If you enjoy solving customer problems, asking great questions, building trust and using AI to create smarter, faster solutions, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.
What You'll Be Doing
Owning Technical Engagement from Day One
This isn't a traditional Sales Engineer role where you're brought in once discovery has already happened. You'll be embedded into enterprise opportunities from the very beginning, partnering closely with Account Executives to lead technical discovery, shape customer conversations, and build conviction throughout the buying journey.
Becoming a Trusted Technical Advisor
Working with some of the world's largest technology organisations, you'll guide customers through tailored demonstrations, technical assessments and proof of concepts, helping them understand how the platform solves complex security challenges across email security, DNS posture, PKI and brand protection.
Operating AI-First
AI isn't an add-on here - it's fundamental to how the team works. You'll use tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and AI coding assistants to accelerate research, automate workflows, build customer prototypes, generate technical content and solve customer challenges faster. They're looking for people who can demonstrate real examples of using AI to improve outcomes, not just write prompts.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience fit

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Building Repeatable Solutions
Beyond customer meetings, you'll create reusable assets that help the wider business scale. Whether that's demo environments, assessment reports, AI workflows, technical documentation or enablement content, you'll constantly be asking, "How do we make this repeatable?"
Influencing Product and Go-to-Market Strategy
Every customer conversation generates valuable insight. You'll work closely with Product, Marketing and Sales, feeding back market intelligence, feature requests and competitive insights that directly influence future product development and go-to-market strategy.
What You'll Bring
Technical Pre-Sales Experience
Around 4-5 years' experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer or Technical Consultant role, ideally within SaaS or Cybersecurity, with strong customer-facing experience throughout the sales cycle.
Security Knowledge
Experience across one or more of the following areas:
- Email Security (DMARC, SPF, DKIM)
- DNS
- PKI & Certificate Management
- Internet Infrastructure Security
- Brand Protection
You don't need to be an expert in every domain, but you'll have genuine technical credibility and enjoy learning.
AI-First Mentality
You're already experimenting with AI in your day-to-day work. Maybe you've built internal tools, automated manual tasks, created customer-facing prototypes, or solved problems without waiting for engineering support. You'll be excited to showcase examples of how you've used AI to create better customer outcomes.
Exceptional Discovery Skills
You know that great demonstrations start long before anyone shares a screen. You're naturally curious, ask thoughtful questions, listen carefully, and understand how to uncover the real business problem before recommending a solution. Experience with consultative selling methodologies such as Great Demo would be highly beneficial.
