Job Title: Security Solutions Engineer (Sales Engineer) — Red Team & Continuous Offensive Testing
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Security Solutions Engineer (Sales Engineer) — Red Team & Continuous Offensive Testing based in the United Kingdom.
We are seeking a technically skilled Security Solutions Engineer who can bridge the gap between offensive cybersecurity expertise and enterprise sales. In this role, you will work alongside business development teams to design compelling technical strategies that demonstrate real-world security risks and the value of continuous offensive testing. You will engage with executive stakeholders, security leaders, and technical teams, translating complex attack scenarios into clear business outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to help shape a growing pre-sales function while collaborating with world-class security professionals in a fully remote, globally distributed environment. If you enjoy combining technical depth with customer engagement and strategic thinking, this is an opportunity to make a significant impact.
Accountabilities:
- Play a central role in the technical sales process, helping prospective customers understand security risks and designing tailored offensive security engagements.
- Collaborate closely with sales, technical teams, and customers to build trust, develop winning proposals, and support long-term client success.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to assess customer environments, security maturity, attack surfaces, and business risks.
- Develop customized attack strategies and technical proposals that demonstrate how continuous offensive testing addresses customer challenges.
- Translate complex cybersecurity concepts and attack paths into business-focused risk assessments for executive and board-level audiences.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution workshops tailored to customer needs.
- Own the technical response for RFPs, security questionnaires, procurement reviews, and vendor assessments.
- Partner with account management teams to support renewals, quarterly business reviews, and expansion opportunities.
- Develop technical sales collateral, industry-specific content, and thought leadership materials.
- Build and improve AI-powered workflows and tools that enhance sales effectiveness and proposal quality.
- Strengthen competitive positioning by educating internal sales teams and differentiating offensive security solutions from traditional penetration testing services.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
