Security Specialist (Remote) – AI Jailbreak & Prompt-Injection Security Expert (Contract)
Remote | Work from Anywhere | Payout: $50–$90/hour
About the Role
We’re recruiting for one of our clients, seeking a remote contract AI Jailbreak & Prompt-Injection Security Specialist to focus on identifying vulnerabilities in AI models. This role involves assessing defenses against jailbreak attacks, refining security frameworks, and testing resilience against emergent threats.
Your work will directly contribute to the development of robust AI security mechanisms and safeguarding AI systems from evolving attack vectors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive analysis of AI model vulnerabilities, with a focus on prompt-injection and jailbreak attacks.
- Design testing methodologies to evaluate the robustness of AI security defenses.
- Develop and execute jailbreak attack scenarios to assess system resilience.
- Document findings and provide data-driven recommendations for security improvements.
- Collaborate with technical and security teams to integrate security best practices into AI deployment pipelines.
- Stay updated on emerging threats in AI security, including novel injection and evasion techniques.

Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience in AI security, prompt-injection testing, and jailbreak attack frameworks.
- Python scripting proficiency for automated security assessments.
- Knowledge of adversarial machine learning and ethical hacking tools/methods.
- Familiarity with AI model architectures (e.g., LLMs, transformers) and inference pipelines.
- Ability to analyze security logs and interpret model behavior under attack conditions.
- Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment in AI systems.
