The Role: Security Supervisor

We’re looking for a Security Supervisor at 1 Hotel Mayfair to uphold the highest standards of safety, security, and seamless luxury guest experiences.

You’ll work closely with the Security Manager and Director of Security & Safety, leading operations with professionalism, sound judgment, and a proactive mindset—ensuring a smooth, secure environment for guests, staff, and assets.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing daily security operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
  • Coordinating team activity to maintain vigilance across shifts, including duty rotations and overwatch
  • Managing incident responses—from observing potential threats to following escalation procedures
  • Enforcing compliance standards, including access control, contractor vetting, and audits
  • Overseeing event security with careful interpretation of Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Maintaining detailed lost & found records and conducting Know Your Customer (KYC) checks
  • Leading system monitoring, logging incidents, and ensuring records are accurate
  • Mentoring team members through training programs and addressing development needs

About You

We’re searching for a security professional with:

✅ Proven experience in a Security Supervisor or similar role within a luxury hospitality environment ✅ A strong grasp of security operations, including incident management, investigations, and compliance ✅ Leadership skills—experience leading teams, managing shift handovers, and navigating 24-hour operations ✅ Attention to detail for admin tasks, audits, and procedural enforcement ✅ Proactive mindset, staying ahead of risks while remaining calm under pressure ✔ An SIA Licence (required for the role)
