Maintaining the safety and security of the hotel’s guests, associates and assets stay at top-of-mind in this critical role. This job is all how about how you react, or just as important, don’t react, in strenuating circumstances. It’s about staying a step (or five) ahead of potential situations, identifying them and managing them with professionalism, reasonable thinking and in accordance with our policies.

We’re currently seeking a Security Supervisor at 1 Hotel Mayfair to help maintain the safety, security, and smooth operation of the hotel for our guests, team members, and assets. This role is all about how you respond—or just as importantly, how you don’t respond under pressure. You’ll stay one step ahead of potential risks, leading your team with professionalism, sound judgement, and a proactive mindset, all while delivering a seamless luxury guest experience.
Supporting the Security Manager and Director of Security & Safety, you’ll oversee daily operations, coordinate team activity, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with safety standards, all while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

About you...
- Passionate about safety and security, with experience in a luxury hospitality environment
- Proven experience in a Security Supervisor role
- Strong understanding of security operations, including incident management and investigations
- Confident leading daily operations, including team rotations, lobby presence, and peak period coverage
- Experienced in managing shift handovers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date communication across teams
- Knowledgeable in event security, with the ability to interpret and act on Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail when managing administration, audits, and compliance
- Confident enforcing procedures, including contractor vetting and access control
- Proactive in monitoring systems, conducting KYC checks, and maintaining accurate lost & found records
- A natural leader who encourages open communication, active listening, and team engagement
- Skilled in identifying training needs, mentoring team members, and supporting ongoing development
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to unexpected situations
- Flexible and able to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation
- Works collaboratively within a team, while also confident working independently and using initiative
- SIA Licence required
