Role Description
The Security Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Ryton, Warwickshire, working Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700 hrs. The role is responsible for overseeing daily security operations within assigned facilities. This includes:
- Supervising security officers
- Managing duty rosters
- Ensuring adherence to company policies, site procedures, and regulatory requirements

Additional responsibilities include:

- Monitoring access control, CCTV, and physical security measures
- Investigating incidents
- Preparing reports
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners as required
The role also involves:
- Supporting customer service standards
- Handling escalations
- Conducting briefings and training
- Maintaining a visible security presence that promotes a safe environment for colleagues, clients, and visitors
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills: Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring, and coaching.
- Security Licence: Relevant security licence (Door supervisor or Security guarding) is required. A CCTV licence would be advantageous, and experience in corporate commercial security environments is beneficial.
- Physical Security Skills: Candidates should possess solid physical security skills, such as knowledge of access control systems, CCTV, and incident response procedures.
- Communication Skills: Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written reporting and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Security Clearance: Role requires SC clearance. Candidates with the ability to obtain SC clearance would be advantageous.
- Customer Service Skills: Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills, with a focus on professionalism, empathy, and resolving concerns promptly.
- Additional Skills: Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions in emergencies, and use basic IT systems for reporting and documentation is advantageous.
