Technical Support Engineer (Security Systems) – Access Control & Video Surveillance
Salary: Up to £55,000
Hours: Monday to Friday
Location: UK – home based. Applicants can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom
Are you a technical expert in CCTV, Access Control or similar network-based solutions? We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to support our clients and internal teams by providing technical expertise, fault finding, problem solving and troubleshooting support. Technical knowledge of Lenel, Milestone or similar security systems is essential.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong working knowledge of integrated security systems. This can be in a technical support role or in a security systems engineering role.
- Technical knowledge of Lenel, Milestone or similar security systems is essential.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Able to adapt technical content for customers with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and effective team player.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Responsible for taking, logging, and resolving technical issues.
- Troubleshooting of security systems issues (Lenel and Milestone).
- Diagnose faults.
- Strive to resolve security systems issues where possible.
- Liaise with external security engineers where required.
- System administration support (patching, upgrades, onboarding new sites).
- Ensure all documentation, ticketing is accurate.
- Undertake on-call support.
