Job Description
Security Technician
Location: Bracknell
This role is shift based
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a Security Technician you will contribute to this by supporting and managing the security technologies that protect the network and management infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Your role will provide 24x7x365 support for sensor and network technologies. This includes responsibility for monitoring, triage, fault rectification, and day-to-day management of the SOC’s security enforcing devices both in and outside normal working hours. This involves detecting and responding to faults, liaising with field engineers for hardware faults, and escalating major incidents.
Your Transferable Skills And Experience
- Experience of service operations.
- Understanding of network technologies such as switches and routers.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to develop positive working relationships with people and teams across the organisation to achieve business objectives.
- Experience of event or infrastructure monitoring.
