SSegmentation Analyst £275–£300/day Inside IR35 12-month contract London (2x per week) We're recruiting a Segmentation Analyst for a 12-month contract with a leading global information analytics business. ASAP start. The role You'll own customer segmentation and audience strategy across the marketing ecosystem — designing and activating frameworks that power personalisation, journey orchestration, and media activation. Working closely with analytics, lifecycle, and channel teams, you'll ensure the right customers receive the right message at the right time. Key responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise segmentation frameworks across acquisition, engagement, retention, and value growth Build and manage segments within a CDP, including rules-based and model-assisted audience creation Partner with Data Engineering and MarTech teams on identity resolution, consent handling, and data quality Enable journey orchestration by supplying fit-for-purpose audiences for triggered, lifecycle, and always-on journeys Support fatigue management, suppression strategies, and prioritisation logic Define segment-level KPIs, support test/control experimentation, and translate performance insights into audience refinements Establish best practices for segmentation design, documentation, and lifecycle management Ensure GDPR-aligned use of PII, consent signals, and purpose limitation across all audience definitions Requirements Proven experience in segmentation, audience strategy, or CDP-led marketing enablement Hands-on experience building and managing segments in a CDP and activation tools Strong understanding of segmentation techniques: lifecycle states, engagement tiers, behavioural clustering, value-based and needs-based segmentation SQL skills preferred — ability to explore data and validate logic Understanding of identity stitching, profile resolution, consent flags, and suppression logic Knowledge of trigger-based journeys, eligibility rules, prioritisation, and fatigue controls Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and personalisation at scale Comfortable operating in complex, global, matrixed environments Highly detail-oriented with a governance-first mindset Collaborative partner to analytics, MarTech, and marketing operations teams The details £275–£300/day | Inside IR35 12-month contract 2 days per week in London (London Wall) — Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday 35 hours per week ASAP start (before 3rd August)
