About the Role

Join a firm where you’ll collaborate with a highly technical team with a strong investment management background, while benefiting from dedicated administration and paraplanning support that gives you more time to focus on your clients and growing your business.

We are looking for an experienced Self-Employed Financial Advisor who has an established client bank and is seeking a supportive, professional home to help develop and expand their business.

This is a remote role, with access to office facilities in Hove and London as required. For the right person, we offer comprehensive operational support, including administration, paraplanning and technical expertise, enabling you to concentrate on delivering exceptional financial advice while we help you maintain and grow your business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Self-Employed Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for providing holistic financial planning and advisory services to your existing clients while developing new business opportunities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with individual and business clients.
  • Conducting detailed assessments of clients’ financial circumstances and objectives.
  • Developing and implementing tailored financial planning strategies across retirement planning, investments, pensions, protection and overall wealth management.
  • Carrying out regular client reviews, monitoring investment portfolios and recommending appropriate adjustments in response to changing client needs, market conditions and legislation.
  • Preparing clear, professional financial reports and recommendations, translating complex financial concepts into straightforward, client-friendly advice.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring all advice and documentation meet FCA regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.
  • Working collaboratively with paraplanners, administrators, compliance colleagues and external providers to deliver an exceptional client experience.
  • Identifying opportunities to grow your client bank through referrals, networking and professional relationships.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
