Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Adviser – Remote Role
OTE: £100,000 – £140,000+

Swarm Recruitment is supporting an award-winning, fast-growing mortgage brokerage, renowned for its strong adviser support, collaborative culture, and tailored client advice. Specialising in residential mortgages, remortgages, buy-to-let, and protection, the business provides advisers with a "business-in-a-box" model, offering leads, marketing, and operational support to help maximise earnings and strengthen client relationships.
With continued growth, they are now seeking ambitious, self-employed Mortgage and Protection Advisers who value flexibility along with the security of a supportive, established firm.
About the Role
This remote self-employed Mortgage Adviser role offers a high-earning potential (£100K–£140K OTE+) for experienced professionals who thrive in self-employment with a results-driven but supportive network.

Responsibilities
- Provide tailored mortgage and protection advice to clients
- Manage the entire case process from initial enquiry to completion
- Process company-provided leads alongside self-generated business
- Collaborate with lenders, insurers, and clients for smooth case progression (supported by admin team)
- Ensure FCA compliance in all advisements
- Stay updated on mortgage developments, product innovations, and regulatory changes
- Build and maintain strong client and introducer relationships

Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Minimum 12–18 months' experience as a mortgage adviser
- Competent Adviser Status (CAS) completion
- Fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent)
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and ** organisational skills**
- Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially aware
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently
Preferred:
- Experience nurturing client relationships
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative environment
Pay & Compensation Package

| Self-Generated Business | 70% commission share |
| Company Leads | 35% commission (up to 45% with strong performance) |
| Protection Revenue | 50% commission (100% on company leads) |
| Elite Adviser Status | Up to 80% commission on self-generated business (performance-based) |
| Transition Support | Earnings during 3-month swap-in period and commission advances |
| Lead Generation | Dedicated mortgage leads provided to speed up pipeline |
| Marketing Support | Full brand setup, ongoing campaigns and 1-2-1 coaching |
| Admin Support | Pre- and post-application handling, freeing time for client focus |
| Network Fees Covered | First 3 months (£99/month) |
| Professional Growth | Access to upskilling, future trading style options |
