Location

As a self-employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor, you will have the flexibility to work independently, with optional access to office locations across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury should you prefer a branch-based environment.

About the Role

Job Summary & Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, motivated Self-Employed Mortgage & Protection Advisor to partner with LRG Financial Services. This opportunity is ideal for driven individuals looking to maximise earnings, build an independent client base, and benefit from:

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide whole-of-intermediary market mortgage advice to a diverse client base
  • Deliver personalised protection advice (Life, Critical Illness, Income Protection, etc.)
  • Manage the entire client journey, from the initial enquiry through to completion
  • Generate and develop your own leads alongside provided lead sources
  • Build long-term relationships with estate agents, solicitors, and introducers
  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and internal procedures
  • Maintain accurate client records and case notes
  • Deliver a superior client experience, fostering repeat business and referrals

Skills & Experience Required

  • Fully CeMAP qualified or equivalent
  • CAS status
  • Proven track record in mortgage and protection advice
  • Strong residential, buy-to-let, and remortgage market expertise
  • Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Organised, professional, and client-focused
