£20+ per hour (Dependent on experience) – Rates negotiated at interview (Hourly or Daily)
About The Role
As a Resolution Field Agent, you will carry out face-to-face visits to residential and commercial properties, working on behalf of our utility-sector clients.
Your role involves:
- Customer engagement
- Welfare checks
- Resolving utility-related issues
Perform these duties professionally, empathetically, and in full compliance with company policies.
This is a flexible, ad-hoc, self-employed position, perfect for those seeking work that fits around personal commitments while delivering customer-focused outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit allocated properties across defined postcode areas
- Discuss utility arrears, payment plans, and meter exchanges with customers
- Conduct welfare visits for pay-as-you-go gas and electricity customers
- Plan, organise, and prioritise workload to meet client SLAs
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and empathetically with customers and clients
- Proactively meet performance targets, resolving disputes as required
- Maintain openness to coaching and feedback for continuous improvement
- Must operate within 20–30 miles of the job location

Working Pattern & Benefits
- Minimum 4 hours weekly, with scope for added ad-hoc work
- Working hours: 4 to 8 hours per day
- Flexible start times: 8am, 9am, or 10am
- Days: Monday to Friday/Saturdays (depending on client hours)
- UK-wide availability, allocated postcodes agreed in advance

Person Specification
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence + vegetarian & own means of transport
- Customer-focused approach; professional, empathetic, and adaptable
- Strong organisation and time management
- Effective verbal communication
- Proficiency with IT systems
Data Protection & Information Security
You must adhere to:
- Data Protection Act: Confidentiality + secure handling of personal data
- Marston Group ISMS (Information Security Management System): All policies applied
- Immediate reporting: Any suspected breaches, leaks, or security incidents
- Risk minimisation: Reducing theft, fraud, misuse, and human error
- Security audits: Regular review to meet compliance standards
