Description & Requirements
This is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in the financial and technical services industry. In capital markets, buy side and sell side professionals strive to achieve automation across multiple asset classes by building and supporting secure connections to Bloomberg. Our Enterprise Technology Services (ETEC) team is responsible for ensuring connectivity stability and reliability of virtually all Bloomberg Enterprise products.
Financial firms rely on dozens of critical systems to develop and execute strategies, evaluate risk, supervise P&L, run sales and trading, and handle settlement. The constant challenge is the complexity of integrating these systems so that data moves correctly across the enterprise, at higher speeds and lower costs. Building solutions in-house can take a large team and a larger investment. Integrators and consultants may not understand a firm’s business model or data.
That’s where we come in.
Within Enterprise Technology, we help firms handle that complexity. Providing common tools, services, and expertise, we enable firms to simplify technology management. This ultimately drives lower total cost of ownership, faster time to market and improved transparency. With our record of accomplishment in delivering hosted solutions and our understanding of Capital Markets, we believe we are uniquely positioned to help clients with integration challenges.
What's the role?
As an Enterprise Technology Service Representative in our team, you are vital in maintaining technological stability and mitigating financial risk for our clients across their Bloomberg solutions and products. You will join our tight-knit team, providing technical application, escalated connectivity, and integration support. You will be a trusted authority for fixing, resolving, and “owning” issues impacting our clients directly. You will be handling inquiries supporting a variety of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows between Bloomberg and client systems. You will interact with clients who code against various Bloomberg specifications as well as handling connectivity, application, and integration inquiries via multiple methodologies, including MQ, XML, SFTP, FIX, Web APIs and SWIFT.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
