Seller Compliance Assistant
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and proactive Seller Compliance Assistant to join a growing marketplace team. This role will support day-to-day operations, ensuring seller compliance, maintaining accurate data, and contributing to smooth marketplace performance.
Reporting to the Seller Compliance & Analyst Lead, you will play a key role in monitoring seller activity, supporting reporting processes, and assisting with administrative and operational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct due diligence and compliance checks for new sellers.
- Monitor seller accounts, identify potential risks, and escalate issues where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate seller records, trackers, and operational documentation.
- Produce regular reports on seller performance, orders, and compliance metrics.
- Track late orders, cancellations, and customer service issues.
- Investigate and escalate operational concerns to internal teams.
- Support product and catalogue audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor stock availability and delivery performance.
- Maintain and update reporting spreadsheets and dashboards.
- Assist with ticket management using internal systems (e.g., Zendesk).
- Support onboarding and setup of new sellers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve queries and issues.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Provide general administrative support to the marketplace team.
- Handle sensitive information in line with data protection standards.

Skills & Experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, filters, lookups, basic analysis).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Comfortable working with data and producing reports.
- Proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Interest in ecommerce and online marketplaces.
- Experience with tools such as Mirakl, Zendesk, or Power BI is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and accuracy.

- Office-based role
- Notice period: up to 3 months
