Do you have the resilience, confidence and passion needed to support young people with additional needs within a specialist setting? A fantastic ARP provision in Batley is looking for a dedicated SEMH HLTA to join their supportive team.

This SEMH HLTA role in Batley is perfect for somebody who thrives in nurturing environments and understands the importance of building strong, positive relationships with students who require emotional and behavioural support.

The Role

Working as a SEMH HLTA within this specialist ARP provision in Batley, you will support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs to access education in a safe and structured environment. You will work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and outside agencies to provide tailored support that encourages engagement, emotional regulation and academic progress.

This SEMH HLTA role will involve:

  • Delivering targeted interventions and small group sessions
  • Supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom
  • Managing challenging behaviour using a therapeutic approach
  • Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional development
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons where required
  • Supporting students to build confidence and resilience
