The Opportunity

This Semi Senior Accountant (Part-Qualified) role offers a varied workload across audit and accounts, giving you exposure to a diverse client base. You'll gain valuable experience working closely with senior staff while also having the autonomy to manage your own assignments.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting audit assignments both on-site and remotely
  • Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
  • Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts
  • Contributing to tax compliance work as required
  • Reviewing junior team members' work and offering guidance
  • Building strong client relationships and handling day-to-day queries
  • Working closely with managers to deliver high-quality service
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees within the team

What We're Looking For

  • Part-qualified ACCA or ACA with several exams completed
  • Recent experience within an accountancy practice environment
  • Exposure to audit, accounts preparation, and general compliance work
  • Confident using software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of current accounting standards and regulations
  • Proactive approach with good commercial awareness
  • Comfortable communicating with clients and colleagues alike
  • A positive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
