- Week 1:
- MON: 7am-7pm
- TUE: 7am-7pm
- WED/THU/FRI: Off
- SAT: 7am-7pm
- SUN: 7am-7pm
- Week 2:
- MON/TUE: Off
- WED: 7am-7pm
- THU: 7am-7pm
- FRI: 7am-7pm

Join Our Engineering Team
We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Semi-Skilled Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrically or mechanically trained engineer who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement, and maintaining high-performing production equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will help ensure production targets are achieved by supporting the maintenance, repair, installation, and continuous improvement of site equipment and machinery. You'll also play a role in project work, contractor management, and enhancing equipment reliability across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on feed mill machinery and vehicles.
- Support installation projects and manage contractors during site visits.
- Monitor site energy usage through BMS software.
- Perform fault finding and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement preventative maintenance schedules and complete associated documentation.
- Conduct statutory inspections and ensure compliance standards are maintained.
- Work across both electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support spare parts management and stock control activities.
- Provide engineering callout support as required.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties to support site operations.

Essential Criteria
- Time-served or skilled electrically or mechanically qualified engineer
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Proven fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Experience diagnosing faults on automated machinery
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Good reasoning and analytical skills
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Desirable Criteria
- Ability to make decisions and work using own initiative
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with poultry processing machinery
- Experience within the food or agri-processing industry
