Job Introduction
We are looking for a Semi Skilled Gardener to join our dedicated team in the Environment. This role is an opportunity to make a real difference in our vibrant and diverse city.
The Main Responsibilities Of This Role
- Work part of team or occasionally on your own
- Carrying out general grounds maintenance duties e.g. grass cutting, shrub, and flower bed maintenance or any other horticultural tasks identified
- Responsible for ensuring that equipment is safe to use and that all safety requirements applicable to the operative, other employees and members of the public are adhered to
- Responsible for the operation of and minor maintenance of mowing equipment, small tools and plant
- Responsible for security of equipment and plant being used on site
- Responsible for carrying out works to a high standard
- Hold a full UK driving licence
