We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our metalwork installations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. As a Skilled Labourer/fitters mate, you will be responsible for performing various tasks that support construction and engineering projects, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
- Carry out general labouring tasks on site, including loading and unloading materials, drilling, and bolting
- Assist tradespeople with their duties, providing support as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team efforts
- Report any issues or concerns regarding equipment or site conditions promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role or construction environment is preferred
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings or plans would be beneficial
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others
- A CSCS card (valid driving licence) may be an advantage but is not essential
