Semiconductor Functional Safety Manager

Functional Safety Manager

This rare opportunity to build and lead an entire functional safety capability from the ground up—not a replacement or mainstream hire. You’ll be the first dedicated functional safety specialist within the organisation, establishing processes, influencing product strategy, and creating the foundations for future growth.

  • Eligibility for exceptions: Other European locations for exceptional candidates
  • UK-based staff: Typically 5 days on-site, flexible based on requirements

About the Organisation

Our client is a global semiconductor company supplying products to automotive and industrial markets. With growing functional safety requirements across their portfolio, they seek a dedicated leader with technical credibility, strategic direction, and practical implementation experience.

  • Shape the functional safety function from day one
  • Work directly with:
    • Engineering teams
    • Business unit leaders
    • Customers
    • Senior leadership
  • Embed ISO 26262 across the product lifecycle
  • Plan the long-term functional safety roadmap for the organisation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
